Fundação Oriente India The delegation annual programme of activities in India is developed considering different areas of activity.

Fundação Oriente Delegation in India was inaugurated in 1995 with the aim of organising cultural, educational, philanthropic and artistic activities, promoting and improving the ties between Portugal and India. Fundação Oriente supports and promotes the teaching of Portuguese language, encourages publishing with special focus on Indo-Portuguese relations. It also supports the preservation of cultu

ral heritage and historical and artistic research, by awarding scholarships to Indian and Portuguese researchers. Its cultural programme includes events and awards in the fields of visual arts, focusing on the promotion of the Trindade Collection and other exhibitions by Indian and Portuguese artists. It regularly offers support to performing arts, organising concerts, performances and workshops and cooperates with other institutions in the organisation of seminars, conferences and other events. Fundação Oriente Delegation in India is located in the most traditional neighbourhood in Panjim, Goa – Bairro das Fontainhas. It occupies a Goan heritage house where the Trindade Collection is permanently displayed.

First day of the 4th edition of the Filmmaking Workshop for Young People.

The workshop started today and runs until 29th of August. Classes are held on Saturdays from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

On 19th of September 2026, participants will present their team documentaries at a public ceremony at Fundação Oriente in Panjim. The films will be created during the course.

The central theme of this 4th edition is "Changing Goa".
