A mural is any piece of artwork painted directly on a wall, ceiling or other large permanent surface. A room, house, school or even city benefits by the beauty of a work of art. ldren's spaces like bedrooms and play areas, in schools, in waiting areas in paedritician's offices, or doctors and dentists, in shops, malls... the list is endless. Equally varied are the subjects that can be painted - faeiries and Disney princesses for little girls, trucks and superheroes for little boys, children's names to personaliise spaces, floral borders to beautify bedrooms and hallways... so on and so forth. They can brighten up a dull corner, bring the carribbean or the jungle indoors, or even, as pictures are wont to do, express the school's philosophy like a thousand words can't!
