56 Years of the Rao Madho Singh Museum Trust ✨

Established on 13 March 1970 by HH Maharao Bhim Singh Ji II of Kotah, the Rao Madho Singh Museum Trust was created to preserve the historic Kotah Garh (Kotah Fort) and to open the Rao Madho Singh Museum to the public.

Over the past 56 years, the Trust has safeguarded and shared the artistic and historical legacy of Kotah – from its celebrated Kotah miniature paintings and royal collections to cultural programmes, educational initiatives, and collaborations with leading institutions across the world.

As we mark this anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Kotah and the Hadoti region for future generations.
