This is one for the ages. I had the privilege to design the product experience for the biggest show on streaming ever, along with my stunning colleagues at . For almost a year now, we’ve been weaving and shaping the product experience for season 2 and then 3. In the true spirit of Squid Game, we played it like a game. Took every rejected idea like a player who got eliminated. And moved on.
This was also the best collaboration I’ve had with my fellow designers .smith and as we’ve almost turned into a family over the last few years, always looking out for each other. Like a lil faction of players, fighting the odds and surviving the games.
Big thanks and congratulations to my favourite Gi-Huns, .ys.oh , the creative strategist, and , the creative video lead. They are the OGs, having worked on all 3 seasons. They embodied the true spirit of the Games.
There are so many people to thank, but a big shout out and thank you to the leadership team for giving me this opportunity. I’ll remember this forever.
