Immersed in experiences of art and culture, you feel an urge to let your right brain take over. The space we intend to create is a cultivator of - free thought, cultural integration as well as an area of intellectual stimulus. Through art, we promote an added dimension in thought, making you think about all that matters, and sometimes enjoy the aesthetics of what’s presented. Oh yes, we also have some amazing food and beverages. Being artsy makes you hungry!

August was moody, mostly thanks to the rain. We’re not complaining.

We had two very good Tastemakers 5.0 sessions, thanks to Suraj (iykyk), and a room full of people discovering that black coffee can, in fact, taste sweet. Especially useful now that sugar prices have decided to have a personality.

Our gallery walls got a refresh too, with some very cool photography from our Artist of the Month. Turns out, changing the art changes the entire mood of a place. Who knew?

We also launched our breakfast menu, which went down rather well. The rain brought people in for shelter, and somehow they stayed for five hours. Again, not complaining.

Good coffee, good food, good art, questionable weather.

All in all, a pretty good August.

Through his lens, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Indranil Saha’s practice explores the relationship between time, movement, and the ever-changing rhythm of urban life, inviting viewers to pause and experience familiar spaces from a fresh perspective.

A Study of Motion: Experimenting with Shutter Speed is a collection of six photographs captured across Kolkata and London. Using long-exposure photography, the series transforms fleeting moments into expressive visual narratives, where patience, precision, and unpredictability come together to reveal the beauty hidden in constant motion.
