Aditi Chakraborty's abstract paintings don't come with explanations, and that's intentional.
"It is less about understanding and more about feeling," she says. Like music in a language you don't speak, you may not know what it means, but you feel it anyway. Abstract art has its own language — one that words can only approximate.
Each of her works begins with a fragment — a memory, a light, a mood, and grows into something that belongs as much to the viewer as to the artist. No two people see the same painting.
