Rhythm and breathwork to bring our energies together in a circle at the Kerala Museum Amphitheatre.

Climate conversations begin by listening to each other, to ourselves, and to the rhythms around us.

This Climate Week, Shanka Tribe brings an evening of rhythmic breathwork, humming and sound to the Kerala Museum, moving from collective energy outdoors to a quieter sound journey indoors.

🦆 The Kerala Museum is looking for fledgling birders who have an appetite for nature!!!

We are thrilled to announce a very special two-day birding workshop for children aged 10–15 with ornithologist and educator Dr. V. Santharam, at Kerala Museum & Kadamakkudy on November 14–15 2026.

An Introduction to the World of Birds will consist of an interactive session at the Museum, followed by an early morning field trip to Kadamakkudy.

Workshop contribution: ₹2,000 (includes transport and food).

The Kerala Museum & Madhavan Nayar Foundation welcome you to join us for a talk by Paul Abraham, founder of Sarmaya, as he traces the rupee’s journey across India and beyond—from its origins in the 16th century to the digital rupee of today.

ABOUT THE TALK:
The talk explores how a single denomination can open up stories of commerce, economics, empire and identity, and is based on Sarmaya’s exhibition and publication Odyssey of the Rupee: From India to the World.

After the talk, Paul takes us on a curated viewing of rare historic rupees from the Sarmaya collection.
