We warmly invite you to the preview of Nothing Arrives Unchanged, a group exhibition curated by Satyajit Dave, bringing together works by nine leading contemporary artists, at Kalakriti Art Gallery on Thursday, 27th August at 6:30 pm.

The exhibition features Arunkumar H G, Asim Waqif, Guruvinayak Singh Budhwar, Pooja Iranna, Rakesh Patel, Salik Ansari, Shanthamani Muddaiah, Shweta Mansingka and Tanmay Santra.

Blue as Structure is a suite of fifteen works that investigates the relationship between architecture, memory, and abstraction. Using a limited palette of Ultramarine blue, the series transforms architectural fragments, geometric landscapes into patterns, layered spatial and imagined compositions.

Oscillating between drawing and constructed imagery, the works create poetic environments where structure becomes a metaphor for memory, and blue serves as both form and atmosphere. Together, the series proposes an imagined cartography of spaces that are simultaneously real, remembered, and invented.

Born in Karimnagar and raised in Mysore, P. Suchender draws deeply from his surroundings and the everyday observations that shape his lived experience. Working primarily with watercolour, his works explore the shifting relationship between humans, animals, and the landscapes they inhabit.

His practice often brings seemingly familiar scenes into focus, revealing quieter questions around coexistence, territory, displacement, and our changing relationship with the natural world.

French-Israeli sculptor Idan Zareski was born in Haifa, Israel. His journey is as unconventional as it is inspiring. Immersed in tapestry of cultures from a young age, he has traveled and lived extensively throughout Africa, Europe, the United States, Latin America. At the age of 38, Idan made the life-changing decision to pursue his passion for sculpture.

Dimpy Menon’s sculptural practice is a celebration of the human spirit expressed through movement, balance, and resilience. Working primarily in bronze, she explores the extraordinary capabilities of the human body, capturing moments of suspension, grace, and athletic dynamism that seem to transcend physical limitations.

Her figures often appear weightless, poised between strength and vulnerability, inviting viewers to reflect on the harmony between body and mind.

Drawing inspiration from dancers, acrobats, and performers, she distills complex gestures into fluid, elegant forms that communicate emotion without narrative excess. The tension between gravity and freedom, discipline and spontaneity, becomes a recurring theme throughout her oeuvre.

Venkat Bothsa is a celebrated Indian contemporary artist and sculptor known for his brightly colored fiberglass sculptures. His work blends pop culture, mythology, and everyday urban and rural narratives into surreal, visually dense forms of Bothsa’s pieces are immediately recognizable by their vibrant, almost dizzying surfaces.

He layers a wide variety imagery onto a single canvas or sculpture—including cityscapes, advertising, flora, fauna, and cinematic references. He frequently bridges the gap between ancient Indian mythology/traditional symbolism and modern, contemporary life.

In Rhythms of the Harvest, Jyothiraj Mayampilly captures the quiet harmony between celebration and everyday labour—where harvest, cultivation, rest, and movement unfold within a shared landscape. In Three Friends at Night, an intimate gathering beneath the evening sky becomes a reflection on companionship, belonging, and the memories that bind people to place.

Moving between the works becomes an act of piecing together emotional fragments, where connections unfold slowly and intuitively rather than linearly.

Together, the series, 'Fold of Stories' creates an intimate inner landscape where mythology, memory, and the domestic quietly coexist. Through the language of folds, the artist Sumit Sarkar transforms ordinary objects into vessels of reflection, presence, and lived experience.
