Art of Mithila Art of Mithila is an attempt to promote indigenous talent of Mithila Artists on a national level through these paintings and other art works.

Art of Mithila is an initiative from Ijot foundation, formed in 2008 with a goal for empowering Women and Young girls from Marginalised section of Indian Society dealing with Women from Backward communities from Madhubani. Women artists involved with NGO are from Ranthi and Jitwarpur. We aim to work towards obliteration of Multiple hierarchies functioning in the nexus. Our Aim is to provide artist

s their due recognition which is lost because of involvement of various external forces .Also the amount they receive is meagre for their survival and the hours they put in for making one piece of art.
