In this painting, we're capturing the Tamil ancient culture that defined a civilization. Rooster fights weren't just sport in Sangam-era streets—they symbolised courage, pride, and the warrior spirit of a people. The poet Pattinapalai immortalised this moment: "செருச்செய் கோழியும் சீறுங் கிடாயும்"—a vivid snapshot of roosters and rams clashing, filling the streets with raw, untamed excitement and revelry.

An inspiring and memorable evening!
As part of the 175th Anniversary celebrations of the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai, a special lecture by Mr. A.V. Manikandan on "Madras Art Movement; Origin and Growth” was hosted at Native Krea.

The talk offered profound insights into the history, evolution, and cultural influence of Chennai’s art movement — enriching students, artists, researchers, art lovers, art advisors, writers and art enthusiasts alike.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in celebrating this landmark occasion.

🌸 What a charming evening with the wonderful women of The Duchess Club!

Native Krea had the joy of showcasing our exclusive artworks at The Savera Hotel — a pure delight to meet so many new admirers!

From heartfelt conversations to selfie sessions with our pieces (the best compliment we could ask for!), the evening was filled with appreciation and connection.

A special highlight was when the ever-gracious Nina Ma’am spent time at our exhibit, engaging with the stories behind Native Krea.
