Today was the last day of the exhibition.
And with it, this chapter gently came to an end.

What we first set out to do — to bring everyone back together through this exhibition — has found its completion. And it did so beautifully. People came, stayed, observed, and experienced our language of art. They listened, felt, and shared their thoughts, which we will carry forward with gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who visited, engaged, and responded. Your words and reflections will stay with us and guide what comes next.

Though today marked the closing of the show, it also opened something new.
This was only the first PIVOTAL — a beginning.

Next year, we return. With more brilliant works, deeper conversations, and new energies. Somewhere in a different city, perhaps a different country — but with the same spirit.

Until then, we hold these memories close.
And we keep moving.

The song sung by the junior students of Kala Bhavana touched something very deep within us. It reminded us of our first year as art students — when we were asked to sing for big programmes, standing nervously yet proudly, not knowing then how those moments would stay with us for a lifetime.

We never imagined that one song could bring back so many emotions and memories at once.

Thank you, dear students.
Maybe not today, but one day you will realise how important a role you played in shaping our memories. You carried us back to a time we often forget while moving forward in life.

And to our beloved teachers — our GURUS — we are here again because of you. Each one of you. Standing beside you, listening to your voices, your words, your thoughts — it brought back a warmth that can never be replaced. Your presence gave us strength to return with new thoughts, new ideas, and the courage to surprise you again.
To show that we learned to think because of you.
That we learned to feel for others because you taught us how.

We were also deeply honoured by the presence of our special guests, Mr. Gautam Ghose and Parvathy Baul. We never expected such special souls to visit our exhibition. Their words, their thoughts, and their presence lifted the exhibition to another level — something we will carry forward with gratitude.

This day reminded us why we began.
Why we stayed.
And why we return.

PIVOTAL was not just an exhibition — it became a reunion of emotions, memories, gratitude, and renewed purpose.

What a wonderful way to begin the day.

The inauguration felt special in so many ways. After a long time, seeing all of us together again — dressed in Santiniketan’s traditional attire — felt deeply moving. Everyone looked so beautiful, elegant, and grounded, as if time had gently folded back on itself.

The day began with emotions from our childhood — feelings we slowly lose under the pressure of individual survival and everyday responsibilities. But for this one day, because of PIVOTAL, we went back.

Back to the days when we laughed freely, poked fun at each other, shared gossip, and carried countless unspoken thoughts. Thoughts we held onto for years, and finally shared — because now we felt old enough, brave enough, and safe enough to speak.

PIVOTAL was not just an exhibition. It became a pause in time — a return to togetherness, warmth, and shared memories.

Grateful for this day. Grateful for everyone.

Seeing these familiar faces again brought back memories of time, conversations, and journeys we once shared.

PIVOTAL feels meaningful because it begins from here — from people, from togetherness, from shared histories.
