Shackles of life.
Acrylic on canvas.
Size- 40x80 cm
presents a dignified owl dressed in golden spectacles and a scholar’s cap an emblem of learned tradition. Yet, the belts on its legs, free of chains, quietly disrupt this symbolism, marking a decisive break from the constraints of societal expectation. Set against a profound black background, pages drift downward some filled with text, others blank evoking the weight of inherited knowledge alongside the untouched potential of unwritten futures. Through this contrast, the work challenges the conventional pursuit of success and invites viewers to consider a more authentic path. The owl’s liberated stance becomes a metaphor for reclaiming individuality, urging us to look beyond conformity and to author a life shaped by passion, courage, and self-defined purpose.
