31st State Wushu Championship Opening Ceremony on 24.01.2026 at Royal College of Science and Technology, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar in a grand way. The event hosted by Khurda District Wushu Association and more than 350 Atheletes and 50 Officials participated, said the Organising Committee Secretary Pruthwiraj Harichandan .

The two days Championship was conducted by Technical Director Pradyumna Behera along with Judges Anuradha Dorra , Pankaj Mohanta, Susanta Kumar Naik, Sujan Saajan Rath , Mithun Chakravarty , Tanya Srivastav, Yudhisthir Gurhandi , Udaya Rout , Ratiranjan Panigrahi, etc. successfully informed by Er. Yuvraj Harichandan , General Secretary, Wushu Association of Orissa(WAO since 1989).

Former BJP Odisha State President Shri Samir Mohanty, President, Olympic Association of Odisha inaugurated the Opening Ceremony along with Former MLA & Senior Leader of BJP Sri Priyadarshi Mishra, Chairman , Organising Committee and Dr Bishnu Prasad Tripathy Mohan Mohanty, President, Wushu Association of Orissa.

Shri Manoj Tripathy , Dist. Governor, Rotary International District 3262 awarded the medals as the Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony on 25.01.2026 along with Senior Leader of BJP Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, Shri Dhiraj Patnaik, Officer on Special Duty & Smt Kshyanapra Mohanty fro Sports Dept., Govt. of Odisha, Dr. Bishnu Mohan Mohanty, Chairman, Royal College of Science & Technology, Bikash Chandra Pattnaik, Vice President, WAO.

Khurda District Team bagged the Team Champion Trophy followed by Sundergarh & Keonjhar as Runner Up & 2nd Runner Up team.
