The Electoral Officer has been appointed from the National Election Panel notified by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Sports, Government of India, vide Notification S.O. 5010(E) dated 09.09.2026, issued under Section 16 of the National Sports Governance Act, 2025.
Electoral Officer informed that all the nominations for different posts are uncontested, hence he declares the result. He expressed his utter satisfaction on the complete election procedure and informed the WAI is the first NSF in the country completed its Election as per the National Sports Governance Act, 2025.
Sj Bhupinder Singh Bajwa elected as the President along with Suhel Ahmed as General Secretary, Muralidhar Chaudhary as Treasurer and all other EC Members unanimously for the term 2026-30.
