~… just making the ceramic pieces isn’t enough… ~ grinding, finishing and packing are a BIG part of every order ~ it takes us days to patiently grind the pieces to ensure they don’t scratch the surfaces they’re used on ~ and packing…. that’s just so so important- if the pieces aren’t packed tightly with enough cushioning they wouldn’t survive the transit from the studio to their destination! ~ and since we like to be sustainable, we try to collect used cartons and newspapers and use as little plastic tape as possible ~ we’ve tried using paper tape, but that just increases our packaging cost ~ any suggestions and options are welcome! ~
