Paper: The original Social Network.
Long before the Cloud, before emails, before WhatsApp and Instagram... paper connected people, ideas, revolutions, cultures, and generations.
It announced our arrival with a birth certificate.
It captured our first drawing.
It recorded our report cards.
It carried our love letters.
It became our passport, our currency, our holy books, and even The Constitution.
It flew as a paper plane, reminded us with a grocery list.....and yes, even served as toilet paper.
And in the end, it records our final farewell with a death certificate.
Name another invention that has travelled every step of the human journey.
This National Paper Day, let’s celebrate paper, and celebrate India’s first Paper Museum, coming soon at Kagzipura, a 700 year old paper making village near the Ellora Caves. The Endurance Kagzipura Museum.
Because before we connected through screens, we connected through paper.
