As India approached its 79th Independence Anniversary, urduclub.amritsar presented an evening dedicated to the timeless voices of Partition writers through the words of Saadat Hasan Manto, Ismat Chughtai, Krishan Chander, Rajinder Singh Bedi and Qurratulain Hyder. The audience revisited stories that captured the pain, resilience and humanity of 1947.
