Cashew, a crop with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, plays an important role in Goa's natural and agricultural heritage. Planting cashew trees on hill slopes can also help prevent soil erosion and contribute to the protection of the environment.
As part of its annual plantation programme, Saviour of the World High School, Loutolim in association with Big Foot, organised a cashew sapling plantation drive.

My sculptural journey began in 1994 with the creation of the Santa Mira sculpture, carved from a single laterite stone. This monumental work went on to enter the record books and is now regarded as the world's longest laterite sculpture. Since then, my passion for sculpting across various media has never ceased. Today, I am proud to unveil my 162nd sculpture at Big Foot, Loutolim—a testament to a lifelong dedication to art, culture, and creativity.

Our visitors got their hands dirty making seed bombs, tiny capsules of life that can transform empty spaces into pockets of greenery. Every seed bomb thrown today is a step towards a greener tomorrow.
