תערוכת היחיד הראשונה של דניאל רימר.
העבודות בתערוכה, שנוצרו במהלך ארבע השנים האחרונות, עוסקות בנושאים קיומים דרך צילום טבע דומם. בעבודה עם חפצים וחומרים שנבחרו בקפידה, רימר מתייחס לדומם כמרחב למשמעות — רעיונית, רגשית ופילוסופית.
דניאל רימר, צלם בריטי־ישראלי שנולד וגדל בלונדון, חי ופועל כיום בישראל.
לאחר תקופה של עיסוק בצילום, עבר רימר לקולנוע, למד ב־London Film School ופעל במשך שנים בתעשיית הקולנוע הבינלאומית. בשנים האחרונות מתכנסת עשייתו מחדש אל הצילום, כמרחב המרכזי של עבודתו האמנותית.
We are excited to present Stranger Than Dreams, Daniel Remer’s first solo exhibition.
Created over the past four years, the works in this exhibition explore existential themes through still-life photography. Working with carefully selected objects and materials, Remer approaches objects as more than physical forms, treating them as vessels for abstract ideas, emotional states, and philosophical reflection.
Born and raised in London, British-Israeli photographer Daniel Remer now lives and works in Israel. After initially focusing on photography, he moved into filmmaking, graduating from The London Film School and building a career in the international film industry. In recent years, Daniel Remer has returned to the still image as the core of his artistic practice.
