CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo (a registered non-profit organization) was founded in 1998 to promote time-based and contemporary artistic practices in Israel.

CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo is a non-collecting institution fostering practices, discussions and reflections connected to the most relevant issues of our times. The goal of CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo is to commission and produce new projects by radical living artists with a special focus on giving an institutional frame to artists from Israel. בהנחיית שני פוקר, משוררת ומבקרת ספרות במוסף “הארץ”. דוקטורנטית לשירה עברית באוניברסיטת ת”א.

בסדרה זו נקרא בארבעה משוררים: אבות ישורון, מחמוד דרוויש, לאה גולדברג ואסתר ראב. כל מפגש יוקדש למשורר/ת אחר, ולעמדה האחרת שביטא בשירתו ביחס למרחב: פליטות, גלות, הגירה ומולדת. דרך הקריאה המשותפת נבחן כיצד “המקום” התהווה בשירתם כמרחב שנע בין שפה, זיכרון והיסטוריה, וכיצד כתיבה על כאן תמיד נפתחת גם אל מקום אחר.

המפגשים יתקיימו אחת לשבוע, בימי רביעי, בין השעות 20:00-18:30.

Reading Group | Humans Are Born, Land Is Not

Shani Pocker is a poet and literary critic for the Haaretz book review, and a PhD candidate in Hebrew Poetry at the Tel Aviv University.

In this series, we will read the works of four poets: Avoth Yeshurun, Mahmoud Darwish, Leah Goldberg, and Esther Raab. Each session will focus on the body of work of one poet, providing a framework to discuss a different stance on concepts of affinity and detachment to the land: statelessness, exile, immigration, and homeland.

תערוכתה של נרדין סרוג׳י צומחת מתוך התבוננות במבנה המרכז לאמנות עכשווית וסביבתו. דרך המפגש בין אדריכלות, רקמה וזיכרון חומרי, סרוג׳י עוקבת אחר שכבות של היסטוריה, נוכחות והיעדר הטבועות במרחב – במבנים, בצמחייה, בדגמים ובסימנים שנותרו בו.

עבודות הרקמה נוצרו בשיתוף אמנים צעירים, סטודנטים ובוגרים של בתי ספר לאמנות, זוכי מענק ריבקינד בן צור לאמנות, חינוך וקהילה לשנת 2026:
רבאב אבו סעדה, שירלי מוניהון, סלאם ג׳אברין, רותם שרף, שחר קושט.

Nardeen Srouji: A Sole Cypress

Nardeen Srouji’s exhibition emerges from an attentive observation of the CCA building and its surroundings. Through the intersection of architecture, embroidery, and material memory, Srouji traces layers of history, presence, and absence embedded within the space.

The embroidered works in the show were created in collaboration with a group of young artists, students and recent graduates of art schools — recipients of the 2026 Rywkind Ben Zour Grant for Art, Education and Community:
Rabab Abu Saada, Shirley Muniahon, Salam Jabarin, Rotem Sharaf, and Shahar Kusht.

Curators: Yael Messer and Hila Cohen-Schneiderman
Supported by the Rywkind Ben Zour Grant and the Pais Council for Culture and Art.

ينبع معرض ناردين سروجي من تأملها في مبنى المركز للفنون المعاصرة وسياقه. من خلال اللقاء بين العمارة والتطريز والذاكرة المادية، تتتبع سروجي طبقات من التاريخ والحضور والغياب الكامنة في الحيّز — في المباني، والنباتات، والزخارف، والعلامات التي بقيت فيه.

تم إنشاء أعمال التطريز بالتعاون مع مجموعة من المتدرّبين — فنانون شباب من طلاب وخريجي كليات الفنون — الفائزين بمنحة ريفكيند بن تسور للفن والتربية والمجتمع لعام 2026:
رباب أبو سعدة، شيرلي مونيهون، سلام جبارين، روتم شرف، وشاحر كوشت.

The participants will work closely with Srouji as interns on a new site-specific installation, leading up to her solo exhibition opening at the end of June 2026.
