هذا عمل الفنان توفيق الضاوي يعرّف نفسه بأنّه شخص متعددة الوظائف البصرية يحاول أن يجمع بين خلفيته التكنولوجية كمصمم غرافيك ذاتي التعلم مع حقيقة أنه مجرد رأس فارغ آخر في خط زمني لا معنى له، منتجاً فناً يتبنى الواقع والعدم والإنسانية والموت. يقيم في عمّان، ويحمل شهادة البكالوريوس في الفنون البصرية من الجامعة الأردنية. يجسّد هذا العمل كلمات الشاعر الفلسطيني تميم البرغوثي “أَنَا عَالِمٌ بالحُزْنِ مُنْذُ طُفُولَتي رفيقي فما أُخْطِيهِ حينَ أُقَابِلُه” من قصيدة (قفي ساعة). من الأعمال المشاركة في معرض (مدوّنات عن الحزن) في حوش الفن الفلسطيني هذا المعرض بتداول من قبل مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان، رام الله، وبإشراف القيّم أمين السادن. تم تنفيذ تركيب معرض القدس في حوش الفن الفلسطيني بإشراف منار إدريسي.
This is the work of Tawfiq Dawi, The artist defines himself as a (multi-functional-visual-individual. He combines his technological background as a self-taught graphic designer with the fact that he’s just another empty head in a meaningless timeline, creating art that embraces reality, non-existence, humanity and death. Based in Amman, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from University of Jordan.) This artwork embodies the words of the Palestinian poet Tamim Al-Barghouti “I have known grief since my childhood. My companion, always near, never absent.” from the poem “Qifi Sa‘a” (“Wait for an Hour”). Among the works featured in the exhibition “Lines on Grief” at the Palestinian Art Court,Circulated by the A. M. Qattan Foundation, Ramallah. Originally curated by Amin Alsaden. The Jerusalem exhibition at Alhoash Art Court is installed by Manar Idressi.
