4:30 AM in Jerusalem. The echoes of the Islamic Call to Prayer, a rooster crowing, and the sounds and sights of the Holy City preparing to wake.
That’s how we closed out the 24 hour live Global Prayer Event with Jerusalem Prayer Team, praying for Israel on the 3rd anniversary of October 7th. Broadcast live on CTN, GOD TV, and many other networks, believers around the world stood united in obedience to Scripture:
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” Psalm 122:6

Three years later, the Church has not forgotten. We stand with Israel. We will not be silent.
As the sun rose over Jerusalem, I was reminded that darkness never gets the final word. We kept watch through the night, but we were never the ones holding the city together. “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” (Psalm 121:4) The same God who watches over Zion is watching over you. Whatever night you are walking through, morning is coming.
I pray that the Holy Spirit would rest on the lives of every person in the Middle East, and that peace would be found in Jesus’ name. Amen.
