The Space Gallery is pleased to introduce -
Alex Gal art
At 62, Alex Gal is proving that age is not a summation point, but rather another starting line. Her professional path has been anything but conventional: after years in education, a sharp pivot to Israel’s leading advertising firms, senior roles in high-tech, and long years of international marketing management in Europe—Alex recalculated her course. Her move to art wasn’t born from collapse or crisis, but from a profound consciousness shift and an understanding of what truly matters. Painting, always present in the background, took center stage—not as a hobby, but as a profession demanding its place in the world.
So, what do her creations hold? Women. Always women. 👩🎨
Alex captures her subjects in intimate, quiet, drama-free moments. Around their heads, she paints a halo reminiscent of classical Christian art, yet here, it carries no religious element. Instead, this halo symbolizes human, feminine, and secular strength—the inner power to persevere, even when facing a challenging and difficult reality.
Alex shatters the cliché that great art must spring from suffering. Her paintings are bright, aesthetic, and flow from a “good place.” For her, beauty and light are absolutely not an escape from reality, but rather a powerful way to confront it.
