The bubble wrap is rolling, the crates are sealed, and the excitement is absolutely unreal! Getting a glimpse behind the scenes as we carefully sign, pack, and ship these incredible pieces off to Switzerland.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that The Space Art Gallery will be making its grand debut at the VOLTA Art Fair in Basel this year!

We will be presenting our special group exhibition, “Domesticated Wildness”—a curated exploration of the nuanced interplay between the untamed and the cultivated. Navigating the fine line between control and surrender, the exhibition juxtaposes decontextualized botanical imagery, vines, and cacti adapting to the stark rigidity of concrete, with surrealistic portraits that challenge the traditional confines of identity and perception.

Efrat Yaron, who recently exhibited at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, merges cutting-edge technology with the organic richness of nature and digital flora. Her works create visual spaces saturated with color, movement, and layers of information and emotion.
Through the use of a contemporary and dynamic language, she explores the relationship between the digital realm and the human experience, offering a fresh perspective on how technology shapes our perception of beauty, memory, and nature in the modern age.

The exhibition explores the nuanced interplay between the untamed and the cultivated, navigating the fine line between control and surrender.

The works of Ronen Tanchum, who recently exhibited at the World Economic Forum in Davos and at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, explore the intersection between urban nature, memory, and contemporary materiality through generative art. Using imagery of cacti, vines, and vegetation that exists within rigid urban spaces, he creates a visual language that is minimalist yet emotionally charged. His work delves into nature’s ability to pe*****te controlled, designed environments, preserving within them a sense of vitality, resilience, and inner freedom.

The exhibition explores the nuanced interplay between the untamed and the cultivated, navigating the fine line between control and surrender. “Domesticated Wildness” juxtaposes decontextualized botanical imagery, vines and cacti adapting to the stark rigidity of concrete - with surrealistic portraits that challenge the traditional confines of identity and perception.

Center to this dialogue are the works of Anat Wegier, an internationally exhibiting artist whose practice dwells in the liminal space between dreams, consciousness, and the human condition. Through her use of hybrid portraiture, Wegier dissolves the distinctions between reality and imagination, the corporeal and the soulful, and the human and the metaphysical. Her compositions evoke a profound sense of mystery, compelling the viewer toward an introspective exploration of presence, memory, and the fluidity of existence.
