تشرف صالة العرض "المركز" للفنون المعاصرة بدعوتكم لحضور افتتاح معرض «يُعاد ٧»، في دورته السابعة، والذي يضم أعمالًا مختارة لخريجي وخريجات كليات الفنون والتصميم في البلاد.

في دورته السابعة، يعود معرض «يُعاد» ليطرح سؤال الاستمرار في زمنٍ هشّ: كيف تتمسك بالفن وبالحياة معاً في واقع يجعل استمرارية أيٍّ منهما على حدة شبه مستحيلة؟ كيف تخلق مساحة للإبداع في جغرافيا تفتقر إلى الحيّز الواضح لنمو كليهما؟ مستلهمًا مقولة إميل حبيبي «من الممكن ومن المفيد أن تحمل بطيختين في يد واحدة»، يفتح المعرض أفقًا للتأمل في العلاقة بين الإبداع والعيش اليومي، بين الجسد والتمثيل، وبين الظهور والاختفاء.
يجمع «يُعاد ٧» أعمالاُ تسعى إلى تفكيك الهوية بدل تثبيتها، وتتعامل مع الهشاشة لا بوصفها ضعفًا، بل مادة للفن ووسيلة للتمسّك بالحضور في بيئة لا تحتضن الفن ولا تمنح أفقًا حقيقيًا للاستمرارية. يشكّل المعرض محاولة متكرّرة للحفاظ على أثر إبداعي هشّ داخل مشهد ثقافي مهدّد دومًا بالانهيار والنسيان.
فيجسد المعرض حمل البطيختين: بين ثقل الحياة والتمسّك بالفن، وبين ضغط المجتمع وصوره النمطية، و الرغبة في الممارسة الفنية والتمرّد على القيود المجتمعية، وما يتركه الفن من أثر، ومحاولات لبناء واقع مختلف وإحداث تغيير ووجود واضح.
«يُعاد ٧» هو مساحة للفنانين والفنانات لممارسة هويتهم الحقيقية بحرية، ومساحة لتفكيك وكسر القيود المجتمعية والصور النمطية السائدة والمتوقعة من الفنانين والفنانات في محاولة لخلق رسالة واستمرارية وإن كانت مؤقتة لنتاجات فنية لا ترضخ لشروط الانمحاء والغياب.

In its seventh edition, “Yu’ad” returns to question the continuity in a fragile time: How does one hold onto art and life together in a reality that makes the continuation of either almost impossible? How does one create a space for creativity in a geography that lacks clear space for the growth of both? Inspired by Emile Habibi’s saying, “it is possible and beneficial to carry two watermelons in one hand”, The exhibition opens a horizon for reflection on the relationship between creativity and daily living, the body and representation, the appearance and the disappearance
“Yu’ad 7” collects artworks that deconstruct the identity instead of reinforcing it, that deals with fragility not as a weakness, but as an art material and a means of clinging to presence in an environment that neither embraces art nor offers a real horizon for continuity. The exhibition represents a recurring attempt to preserve a fading creative trace within a cultural scene constantly threatened by collapse and oblivion.
The exhibition embodies carrying two watermelons: between the weight of life and the clinging to art, between societal pressure and its stereotypes, the desire to practice art and break through the community restrictions, it embodies the impact that art leaves, the attempts to build a different reality and make an impact and clear presence.
”Yu’ad 7” is a space for artists to freely practice their true identity, a space to deconstruct and break down the strict societal restrictions and the typical expected stereotypes of artists, in an attempt to create a message and a continuity, even if temporary, for artistic productions that do not submit to the conditions of erasure and absence
