Ruskin Spear, student of Sir Walter Sickert, the late great Fred Bushe OBE and founder of the Scottish Sculpture Workshop taught her how to see, and consequently to understand form, shape, line and the power of abstraction. A degree in Art History at The University of London further instilled a love and motivation for Art that sustains her to the present. Pauline paints in France on an annual basi

s and have exhibited in both Avignon and La Rochelle. Quite a part of her childhood was spent in the country side and close to the sea in Co. wexford so landscape and seascapes have been an abiding feature of her work. Living in Arklow, the harbour and boats have always been a draw.
