As my Birthday 🥳🎂🍰 fast approaches I am reminded of that time Johnny Depp made a movie about me...🤯☠ I mean I wouldn't keep going on about it except that coincidentally the movie was released on my actual Birthday 28th of July...for all you fact checkers out there this is just the beginning of the rabbit hole 🐰
And for all you believers in Magic 🧞‍♀️ and the Grand Adventure and for those who visited my little shop and listened to my stories of The Armada and who purchased Artworks from my cave of curiosity, you will recognise my workshop in the movie as it was re-created piece by piece exactly as it was in real life 🧐
And since it's release in 2022 I have celebrated both my regular birthday and the Birth of Philip Artoosh which is much the same as my own birthday because...well... I am Philip Artoosh and so...like when I tell the kids at all our shows, if you don't believe in magic it can never happen, and if you don't believe in dreams they can't come true... 🤔
so when people hear my story and say 'keep dreaming mate' I usually say 'Ok I will' and I do and they keep coming true so... you can have the 'Real World' and I will stay in my Dream World where great Treasures and Adventures come my way all the time where Great Galleons sail past my Castle Fortress on the edge of the world, where great hoards of Spanish Gold wash up on my sandy beach where movie stars and Pirates play me in the movies in the land before time at Time Travel Theatre so... to my 5 facebook friends and 2 Instagram let us put our hands together to wish Philip Artoosh a happy Birthday 🥳🤩👑🙉🎂 👏🙏🫵

This spectacular replica of a 16th‑century Spanish Armada vessel will sail close to Streedagh Beach as part of a two‑week visit to Sligo, delivered in close collaboration with the Remembering the Armada Festival group.

Together, we’re working to maximise the cultural, educational and tourism impact of this unique opportunity for Sligo’s communities and visitors.

The visit supports Your Council Day’s theme by showing how local authorities work hand in hand with voluntary groups, festival committees and local businesses to create meaningful experiences that strengthen pride of place and support our tourism economy.
