Open Call for Exhibition Proposals
Hyde Bridge Gallery invites applications from both emerging and established visual artists for inclusion in its 2027 Exhibition Programme.
The Hyde Bridge Visual Arts Programme aims to support and showcase the work of artists living and working in the region alongside selected national and international artists, while maintaining a strong commitment to community engagement and cultural participation.
Hyde Bridge Gallery is administered by the Yeats Society Sligo and supported by the Hyde Bridge Gallery Committee.
As the gallery does not receive state funding, a gallery rental fee of €420 applies to successful exhibiting artists.
Application Deadline Friday September 25th 2026
Applicants will be notified of the selection outcome approximately one month after the closing date.

Applicant Details

Website and/or social media links
Supporting Materials Artist CV and/or short biography.
A concise exhibition proposal (approximately 150 words) outlining your practice, the proposed exhibition, and the themes or ideas behind the work. Please also indicate your preferred exhibition period within the 2027 programme.
A list of the works included in your submission, stating the title, dimensions, medium, and year of completion for each work.
Up to five high-quality images of recent work. Images should be submitted as JPEG files and clearly labelled with your name and image number (e.g. 1_Jane_Smith.jpg, 2_Jane_Smith.jpg).
For moving image or video work, please provide a link to view the work online.
