'Airline Pilot of the Future' is a fantastic, exclusive experience for young people who want to become a commercial pilot. This course is ideal for young people aged 13-18. Conducted by a current airline pilot, this course combines a mix of theory, flight simulation and other general tips on the road to becoming a pilot.

Great to meet all the Kanturk Scouts, Cubs and Beavers with us today and the Galway Rover Scouts last weekend for Air Activity Adventure Skills Badge Workshop

Shannon has been Scouting central for the last few weeks, with workshops at SAM, Camping and also JOTA-JOTI 2026 (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) happening with LIMERICK CLARE AMATEUR RADIO CLUB at Shannon Urban Base Camp this weekend.

All are invited to experience festive photo opportunities with Pete our spooky pilot in our Cessna Skymaster aircraft on Saturday 31st October.

Find Halloween treats among historic aircraft, build your own bat glider and more.

Kids under 10 in costume go FREE between 10am and 1pm on the day. Adults must accompany.

Tickets can be purchased online or at reception on arrival. If booking online, simply omit the child's admission. Please note that under 10's free admission is strictly from 10am to 1pm, arriving outside of this time will incur an a child's admission fee.

We were very sad to hear that Rob Gallagher slipped the surly bonds of the earth this week.

This photo was taken on his last day with us in Dec 2016, as one of our most regular 737 sim pilots, trained at Atlantic Flight Training Academy he was heading off to start his first job as First Officer with Norwegian Airways a few weeks later. He came home and joined Aer Lingus, his dream job.

Our deep condolences to his family, friends and colleagues at Aer Lingus.
