It is always an honour to welcome descendants of past pupils to Kiltartan Gregory Museum.
Yesterday we were visited by Gerry Fahy, who is a great grandson of Pat Mulkere, late of Castletown,Kiltartan.
Pat Mulkere taught Irish to Lady Gregory and W.B. Yeats and was in attendance at a meeting, in Kiltartan, when one of the first branches of the Gaelic League was founded there by our first president- Douglas Hyde - in 1893.
Gerry presented this copy of Pat’s obituary to the museum.

A pleasure to welcome these early morning visitors to Kiltartan Gregory Museum today.
The delightful UK family enjoyed browsing through the many artefacts and going back in time in our early 20 century classroom.
Last few days to enjoy the Yeats- Gregory Explorer shuttle bus. Service finishes on Aug 31.
