In the hush of eventide, the sky,
a canvas of fading golds and deepening blues,
embraces the remnants of daylight,
each colour sighing a soft farewell.

Trees stand sentinel,
their branches weaving stories
into the twilight,
each rustle a secret kept,
each leaf
a moment slipping away.

In the delicate balance
where day meets night,
The light, dying softly, gently,
as the sun dips low.

Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them.
Patience enough to toil until some good is accomplished.
