We have had some fantastic events happening this weekend for the kick off of National Heritage Week 2026 💜💛

Conservation Analyst, Paddy Byrne, started the week off with his hands on talk about the "Story of Stone", and the preparation for masonry repairs. Don't worry if you missed out on this fascinating display, as Paddy will be back with us on Saturday the 22nd at 15.30 🏰🪨

We also had our "Weapons of 1798" display in the National 1798 Rebellion Centre. This gives an amazing insight into the weaponary used during that historical time.

Our " Waters of Wexford" exhibition was the chosen spot today for some fantastic tales and songs from the sea.
Tour guide, Gary Hogan, brought the tales of ocean to life with the High Cs singing group bringing the music of the sea to life as well 🌊⚓
