Nelius Flynn Artworks I look forward everyday to working in my studio. Visitors are very welcome. There’s a display of my work in Coffee Break With Barbara, Monaghan, now.

Personal commissions of homes, favourite scenes & other subjects can be discussed with no obligation. I love going out to my studio and working on drawings for clients or for exhibitions. It is a pleasure to be able to spend time researching subjects, taking photos, talking to customers and then drawing and colouring a finished piece. It's never boring!

I am back in the studio !!
It was so nice to see Lake Como, Lake Garda and Venice but it’s nice to be home too. I did several sketches while I was there. The weather was great for working on location and there was no shortage of interesting subject matter.

The media I used are, watercolour pencils, black fineliner pen and gouache paint.

I’ll tell you something crazy…..about me. Most days I spend a good few hours working in the studio if I can. The nature of my work is that I don’t move much…..in fact I have been told I don’t even blink much. My eyes get dry as a result and my left eye in particular gets a bit red sometimes. I use eye drops to lubricate them but here’s the quirky bit….. every time I put in eye drops…..,just before the drop falls to my eye, I double check that it’s not super glue….every time !! 😃
