Join us on Friday evening for a family style dinner, and a screening of Four Letters of Love. 

Based on Niall Williams' best-selling novel. Nicholas and Isabel were made for each other but how will they ever know it? As ghosts, fate and the sheer power of true love pull them together, so too does life threaten to tear them apart. Set against the sweeping landscapes of Counties Donegal and Antrim, the film charts their separate journeys of heartache, missed connections, and the enduring pull of romance before fate finally brings their paths together.

✨We will enjoy lasagne (both meat & veggie versions) salad and garlic bread, in our cosy café before settling into the cinema. There will be a short interval halfway through the film.✨

Welcome to our annual Muckish Film Festival! Join us for a weekend of the big screen ✨

Friday 9th October: Dinner at 7pm in our candlelit cafe, showing Four Letters of Love at 8pm. You may recognise the filming locations in this one! Tickets are €18.

Saturday 10th October: From 6pm, we'll show a selection of short films by fantastic local directors and producers, followed by some snacks and chats in the cafe. Tickets are €5.

Sunday 11th October: At 2pm, we'll be showing The Secret of Kells, a family friendly fantasy film. (1 adult per family must stay in the cinema). You'll get a small bag of popcorn, a juice & maybe even some sweeties! Tickets are €5.

We are excited to officially announce the Annual Workhouse Winter Craft Fair will be taking place on November 8th from 11am to 4pm at the Workhouse 🎅⛄️❄️🎁

This year we have over 30 stall holders and food vendors coming to the craft fair that will be run from the marquee and car park! As well as that, we’ll be having festive music, storytelling, plenty more!

While we are fully booked for the craft fair this year, we do have a wait list so if you are interested in taking part please contact us and we can add you to the list ❤ We are very much looking forward to our next craft fair!

Can you help? You may have heard exciting things are happening at The Workhouse Dunfanaghy, early next year.

We are hoping to borrow any photographs folk in the community may have, from 1800s / early 1900s. They would be safely copied and returned to you.

Your contribution could significantly enhance the major upgrades we will be making to The Workhouse Visitor experience. ✨
