Step into the remarkable story behind some of the most iconic photographs of one of Ireland’s greatest literary figures.

Join us on Thursday 27th August at 7:30pm for an evening with acclaimed Irish photographer John Minihan, whose celebrated portraits of Samuel Beckett have become defining images of twentieth-century culture.

In “Beckett & The Wake,” Minihan reflects on his friendship with Beckett, sharing the story behind their first meeting and the acclaimed photographic series The Wake of Katy Tyrell, captured in his hometown of Athy, County Kildare, in 1977.
