We had a fantastic outing with LUAS on Sunday 10th May 2026 covering the Red Line and unusual track, including Connolly to George’s Dock spur and various non passenger sections of track.

73 people travelled on the tour, including a contingent from the Branch Line Society in the UK.

Thanks to the team at Transdev, operators of the LUAS for looking after our group so well today. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to partnering with the LUAS operator once again in the future.

RICHARD WALL (1944-2025); the IRRS is sadenned to learn of the passing of our long standing member and avid railway photographer Richard Wall, whose pictures spanned over 50-years both in Ireland and abroad, many published in the IRRS Journal and rail publications. Condolences to his family, all his railway friends and fellow photographic colleagues on his passing. May Richard RIP.
