Discover the striking work of Ukrainian-born artist Andrii Trushkevych, who brings Irish and Ukrainian landscapes to life through a moody, impressionistic lens.

Backed by a classical background in fine crafts, his textured oil paintings masterfully capture the shifting, transient nature of light.

Using the black canvas technique where his starting pont is a dark substrate, he paints from dark to light to create intense contrasts, rich color depth, and an undeniable emotional resonance.

Check out Andrii's artist page on our website and call to the gallery to see them in person.

They’ll instantly brighten up any room and give your walls some actual personality, so stop sleeping on it and pop into Gallery Zozimus and grab one for a steal.

Big thank you to who let me have a go on his pottery wheel yesterday on my quick visit to Sligo. I'll definitely be trying more of that it was so much fun.

***spoiler alert: I am not a master potter and will not be holding classes in Zozimus

Shauna McCann’s utilitarian pots are anything but ordinary. A step away from her more recognised work, these pots created for our exhibition 'And Now for Something Completely Different' are highly decorated, tactile pieces that celebrate both function and craft.
