Symbiosis by is currently on show at SO Fine Art Editions

His practice brings together embroidery, knitting and contemporary materials such as metal and silicone, extending the possibilities of thread as a sculptural medium. Following the development of his first collection.

Delicate, meticulous and intensely labour-intensive, he pushes the boundaries of embroidery, art knitting and thread crafts. Each creation can require between 300 and 1,500 hours of labour and incorporate up to 100,000 beads. This extraordinary level of detail offers a unique approach to contemporary sculpture and the understanding of space.

SO Fine Art Editions is delighted to present Symbiosis, an exhibition by Luxembourgish sculptural textile artist and experimental embroiderer Yanis Miltgen.

Moving from fashion into embroidery, and subsequently from embroidery and knitwear into sculpture, Miltgen has developed a distinctive sculptural language that challenges conventional understandings of textile art. A graduate of Atelier Chardon Savard (Paris) and Studio Eyral (south of France), he works at the intersection of craftsmanship, contemporary art and material innovation, drawing inspiration from nature, architecture and the possibilities of transformation.

What happens when we look closely at the instinct to grow, reach, connect and survive?

Dublin-based artist John Fitzsimons turns his attention to the natural world in The World Outside - a vibrant new exhibition filled with vivid colour, striking geometry and a quiet sense of optimism.

These are paintings about life reaching for the light. About growth, connection and the remarkable persistence of living things.

Come and experience the exhibition in person, the colour, energy and detail of these works are something to see up close. Now showing in the gallery.

Come in, take your time, and see what reaches out to you.
