Into the Blue
Alcohol Ink on framed canvas
Size 90x70.5cm

An ethereal abstract piece created using alcohol ink medium which creates a fluid and organic style of painting.Painting with alcohol ink requires an understanding of how to control the medium while also stepping back and allowing the paint to create its magic spontaneously. By building layer upon layer you can create the beautiful light filled layers which you can see in this piece. Available for sale on my website and currently on display in Cabra Library D7 until 7th Nov. I will be showcasing this new work at Art Source from 13th-15th Nov. Drop a DM if you would like tickets.

A selection of my Chakra series, each one representing one of the 7 Chakras. These are the primary energy centres of the body, originating from ancient Indian spiritual and medical traditions, with seven main chakras aligned along the spine from the base of the pelvis to the top of the head. Each centre acts as a swirling vortex corresponding to specific nerve bundles, major organs, and emotional states. When these energy centres are open and balanced, they are believed to promote optimal physical health, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. However, if a chakra becomes blocked or misaligned, practitioners believe it can manifest as physical illness, anxiety, or emotional distress. I have created this series with each one representing one of the energy centres.

I'm so happy this piece called 'Summer Fields-The Phoenix Park' has found it's perfect home. It was great to see it in situ in the most beautiful entrance hall..a perfect spot. It looks like it was painted especially to be there. I hope it brings years of happiness to its new owners.
