On the first Wednesday of every month The OPW opens up sites across the country for FREE ENTRY.

The Custom House is included in this.

No need to book, just turn up anytime this Wednesday for a free visit.

We're delighted once again to be a part of this years Dublin Festival of History.

We have two tours this year, our superb Irish Famine and Workhouse Tour and our brilliant Dark History Tour.

Our Famine tour explains the work of departments inside the Custom House during the harrowing time in Irish history that was The Great Famine.

Our Dark History Tour deals with all the dark times in the history of the Custom House and its environs.

The sun is sadly setting on this run of our Four Courts Tours. Our last tour will be on 1st October, after that the business of the courts fully returns after their summer recess.

If you don't secure a ticket, don't worry, we will definitely be offering these tours again in 2027 🙂.

Heritage Week 2026 officially kicks off tomorrow morning and we're very exited to welcome loads of people throughout the week.

Our doors in the Custom House open at 9:45am tomorrow and it is free entry all day tomorrow for people wishing to self-guide throughout our exhibition.
