The Heritage Week Express departs today!

Steam trains all day from 13:00 to 16:30.

Experience a steam train journey through time along a section of the original Cavan and Leitrim Railway and guided tour of transport exhibits.

The train trip and guided tour takes approximately 60-90 minutes in total.

No need to book just turn up during our opening hours.

We look forward to your visit.

We are getting all steamed up as part of Heritage Week.

The Heritage Week Express is seen preparing for the off from Dromod today.

The Heritage Week Express will also operate Sunday 23rd August as part of heritage week from 13:00 to 16:30.

No need to book just turn up during our opening hours.

A selection of images from our wonderful visit from Táilte Tours on Sunday.

We had a delightful diesel morning for our visitors and all enjoyed the morning out. The rail tour haulage was our own Ruston LM114. Hunslets LM340 and 384 also were displayed for our guests.

There was even a surprise steam trip for our diesel fans!
