🌿💚 A HUGE THANK YOU – CLIMATE ACTION & COMMUNITY 🌱🌳

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Monaghan County Council for providing the funding that made our Climate Action project possible.

It was wonderful to bring people together to transform an area at the front of our garden into a greener, more sustainable space. With the help of our fantastic volunteers, we dug out the area, reused existing blocks, introduced new plants & sowed seeds all while giving nature a little more room to thrive. 🌱🌼🌳

♻️ By reusing materials, encouraging biodiversity and planting for the future, we are taking small but meaningful steps towards a more sustainable environment.

A special thank you to all our amazing volunteers who generously gave their time, energy and hard work to help bring this project to life. Your support, enthusiasm and community spirit made all the difference. 💚

We still have some planting to do, the trees are next 🌳 💡

The Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre is an ideal starting point for exploring Clones, whether through a guided or self-guided tour. Discover the town’s rich history, including Clones Lace, An Gorta Mór, and much more.
