Delighted to announce that Dan McCabe will be performing 'An Up and Personal' concert in Brú Ború on Saturday 22nd February 2025.

It was with great sadness and shock that we learned of the passing of our dear friend Michael Kavanagh this week.

Michael was a part of Brú Ború from the very beginning and was so well regarded by all that knew him and had the pleasure of working with him. Michael knew every inch of Brú Ború and was the 'go to' man when information was required on the building or their was a job to do. Michael retired a number of years ago and it is fair to say he was irreplaceable.
Michael was a wonderful character and so generous with his knowledge and many skills and he will be missed dearly.
Our sympathies to Carrie, Jean and Michael and all Michael's family.

An excellent Preparatory course that is very popular each year.

This Preparatory course, designed to give foundation skills in the teaching of Irish Traditional Music, will take place in Brú Ború Cultural Centre. Branches are encouraged to identify members in their area who would benefit from this course.

We will not have a summer show on this Thursday 8th August due to our performers participation at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann this week in Wexford.
We will have a show on Wednesday 7th August and will resume our program of Wednesday and Thursday night performances from next week with our final show on the 22nd August.
We have had a wonderful season of shows so far and look forward to the rest of the season.

What a night we had last night here in Brú Ború.
A full house for our summer show and what a wonderful audience they were. As always the Teach Ceoil unearthed some great talent from those in attendance, thank you to all for making it another great night in the Brú Ború Cultural Centre.
