An Exhibition By Danny Greenhalgh.

We are delighted to invite you to the opening of our summer exhibition 2025 : "The Tongue of Solomonescu" by Danny Greenhalgh.
Danny was born in 1989 in Dublin, Ireland, and graduated from NUI Maynooth with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and History. He has a Diploma in Graphic Design from Ballyfermot College of Further Education, and has worked as a freelance illustrator and Graphic Designer. He has also been designing the print materials for the Fit-Up Theatre Festival since 2017.

In 2024 he received the Agility Award from the Irish Arts Council, and had his first solo exhibition “The Tongue of Solomonescu” with 1001 Arte Gallery in Bucharest in 2025. He also took part in “Sharp Objects” at The Philosophy University in Bucharest, his first group exhibition, that same year.

The Tongue of Solomonescu travels to 59 Rivoli, Paris, France later in July and you are very welcome to view the exhibition whilst it is in Ballydehob. The launch on Friday includes complimentary cheese & wine followed by live music in the bar.
