RAW Vol. 2 is now open.
First introduced in 2018, RUCI Art Wall (RAW) is an open call exhibition initiated by RUCI Art Space to support artists in the early stages of their practice. Conceived as a platform for emerging voices, RAW offers artists the opportunity to present their work, engage with the public, and experience exhibiting within the context of a contemporary art gallery.
Eight years later, RAW returns with the same commitment. This year, we received more than 300 submissions from artists across Indonesia. Following the selection process, 21 artists were invited to participate: Alfan Manthofani, Anadi Aria, Anzi Matta, Bismar Siagian, Elfa Zulham, Jerojerrr, Labaika Adkha Maharani, Mivetboi, Fitra Rahardjo, Gusti Kade, Iqbal Dwi Priatna, Jazz Abraham Pratama, Lowpop, M. Rizky Aditya, Raymond Gandayuwana, R. Dewa, Rosa Guerinoni, Shavira Mada, Suwandi Waeng, Svkmatra, and Trio Muharam.
Working across diverse mediums and artistic approaches, the exhibition brings together reflections on memory, identity, family, the body, consumer culture, imperfection, and the complexities of contemporary life.
