Within a period of seven years, Tonyraka has held more than 30 fine art exhibitions featuring paintings, sculpture, installation, photography, and various other visual arts. Tonyraka always involving curatorial works to maintain the quality of the works featured in solo and mutual exhibitions as well as daily presentations. al and international artists in presenting their work to arts society. Tonyraka has become the presentation space of the work of Indonesia's leading artists such as Mangu Putra, Nyoman Erawan, FX Harsono, Tisna Sanjaya and Yani Mariani Sastranegara; international distinguished artist such as Wolfgang Widmoser, Ronald Wigman, Peter Dittmar, Filippo Sciascia and Samarpan; as well as brilliant young artists such as Ida Bagus Purwa, Ketut Teja Astawa, Made Arya Palguna, Sudarna Putra and Nyoman Wijaya. By the broad support from the arts society, Tonyraka currently has grown into a gallery which has a commendable reputation in Bali. Each Tonyraka’s activities are statement of cultural mission, artistic vision and Tonyraka’s aesthetic standards as an institution which involved in the effort of promoting arts and culture. Fine art exhibitions and others cultural agendas not merely presenting the creative achievements of individual artists, but also reflects the commitment which deeply held and fought by Tonyraka. Since the beginning, Tonyraka committed to actively urge and contribute to the dynamics of cultural development, particularly in the field of fine arts. Such commitment is carried out continuously through exhibitions, seminars, cooperation projects and various other cultural arts activities. As an example, on 2005, Tonyraka held a great exhibition “Erotica” presenting the works of Indonesian and International artists in response to the Po*******hy Act Draft which feared shall grind cultural diversity and deprive creativity freedom. Moreover, on 2007 a great exhibition “Ar[t]chipelago Alert” in conjunction with a social action, Tonyraka conveyed the aspirations of Indonesia artists on the global warming issue which was being discussed in the UN International Conference in Bali at that time. A couple years ago, Tonyraka also participated in exhibitions exchange and cultural pilgrimage program between Ginseng Country artists and Indonesian artists that took place in Bali and Jeju, South Korea. Furthermore, Tonyraka also actively cooperating with foreign parties in promoting Indonesian art works overseas. Since its establishment seven years ago, Tony constantly improve itself as a professional, dignified and trustworthy agent in bridging idealism and pragmatism, creativity and markets, artwork and appreciator, artists and community. Throughout the seven years, support, trust and recognition of the arts society and public have raised Tonyraka and those become a valuable asset to move forward.
