Current Exhibition: White Reclusion 白藏之境

Date: 2 October – 31 October, 2026

📍 Art of Nature Contemporary 2/F, New World Tower II, 18 Queen's Road Central, Central

The most compelling dimension of the "White Reclusion" exhibition is its exploration of how artists step away from the external world to look inward. Drawing on the ancient name for autumn, the exhibition considers an inward turning process where the rushing pace of life slows, energy restrains itself, and life preserves its next phase in stillness. Central themes include nature's rhythm, the sedimentation of materials, and how restraint after abundance becomes a powerful creative ethos.

The exhibition features diverse paintings, ink illustrations, and mixed-media works that move beyond mere superficial reproduction. Instead, they navigate the liminal space between reality and abstraction, transforming everyday memories and familiar natural elements into profound visual perception.

"White Reclusion" is on view at Art of Nature Contemporary until October 31, 2026. We invite you to visit and immerse yourself in this intimate and contemplative artistic dialogue.

Current Exhibition: White Reclusion 白藏之境

Date: 2 October - 31 October, 2026

📍Art of Nature Contemporary, 2/F, New World Tower II, 18 Queen's Road Central, Central

We sincerely thank all the distinguished guests and art enthusiasts who attended the opening reception on October 2, 2026. It was an honour to witness our visitors engaging so deeply and thoughtfully with the artworks on display.

"White Reclusion" is the ancient name for autumn, signifying an inward-turning process and a return to oneself. Curated by Audrey Ma, this exhibition brings together eight exceptional artists—Bolin, Ding Li, Gu Qiang, Li Hongcheng, Lin Mingjun, Mu Zi Fan, Song Wanjin, and Shizhu. Through their diverse media and personal narratives, the exhibition explores the concept of "restraint after abundance," inviting viewers to pause and re-examine the subtle realities that surround us.

"White Reclusion" is now open to the public at Art of Nature Contemporary. We cordially invite you to experience the intricate details and emotional resonance of these works in person.

Upcoming Exhibition: White Reclusion

Date: 2 Oct – 31 Oct, 2026
Opening Reception: 2 Oct, 2026, 5:00 – 8:00 PM

📍 Art of Nature Contemporary2/F, New World Tower II, 18 Queen’s Road Central, Central

White Reclusion is the ancient name for autumn. Compared to the growth and abundance of spring and summer, autumn is closer to an inward-turning process: things are still happening, but the pace slows, energy gradually restrains itself, and life preserves the traces of its next phase in stillness. The exhibition uses this concept as a starting point, focusing on how artists depart from the external world and gradually return to themselves through their creation.

Current Exhibition: Gu Yue | Boundaries

Date: 21 Aug - 19 Sep, 2026

📍 Art of Nature Contemporary 2/F, New World Tower II, 18 Queen's Road Central, Central

In this show, the iconic forms of Laocoön and Venus are broken down and reconstructed, clashing with raw elements like swords and quartz sand. Gu Yue's work challenges our fixed perspectives, turning the concept of a boundary from a barrier into a dynamic space for new understanding.

The gallery space has been entirely transformed. Come experience the powerful dialogues between these contrasting textures and cultural archetypes in person.
