「堆盤栗子炒深黃，客到長談索酒嘗，
寒火三更燈半灺，門前高喊灌糖香。」

炒栗子是香港人的集體回憶——師傅紮穩馬步，在熾熱黑砂中揮舞大鐵鏟，每一炒皆傾注內力，化作陣陣撲鼻的焦糖香，宛如一場街頭武林！

📜這張充滿歲月痕跡的招紙，正是客人許先生的爺爺的「武林秘笈」，推算約五十年代，迄今已有 76 年歷史。當年爺爺隻身來到香港，推著木頭車在九龍城擺檔炒栗子時，用的就是這張招牌。後來爺爺於 1959 年創立土瓜灣「白宮冰室」，復古風貌成為無數電影勝地，奶茶配蛋撻菠蘿油更是經典。這份香港情懷，2012 年因重建正式告別街坊。☕️🥧

Roasted chestnuts are a classic Hong Kong memory. Like a martial artist, the master wields his turner through scorching sand, sparking rhythmic clangs and a rich caramelized aroma.

📜This weathered vintage sign belonged to Mr. Hui’s grandfather. Dating back 76 years, it hung proudly on his wooden cart as he sold roasted chestnuts in Kowloon City. His street experience led to the founding of the iconic "Paa Kung Cafe" in 1959, a beloved vintage movie location famous for milk tea and egg tarts. Though it closed in 2012 for redevelopment, its nostalgic legacy lives on. ☕️🥧
