【展覽預告｜岩彩藝術的跨境敍事】
一新美術館欣然呈獻首個色彩畫系列展覽“岩彩藝術的跨境敍事”，特別展出岩彩畫大師平山郁夫（1930–2009），以及陳育強、陳文光、鍾大富、胡明哲、入江明日香、大竹彩奈、邱榮豐及朱進共九位來自日本、中國不同城市包括香港的藝術家之作品，展現岩彩在當代語境下的豐厚光譜與跨境流動。
岩彩，這門承載千年文明記憶的藝術材質，從遠古洞穴壁畫到敦煌石窟的絢爛圖景，始終映照着人類對色彩與質感的探求。本次展覽共展出33件作品，藝術家們各以殊異的視角叩問這古老媒材，讓岩彩在他們手中綻放出截然不同的生命。我們希望觀眾能從這些作品中，感受到岩彩作為一種“跨境”媒介的獨特魅力：它既承載着東方的古老智慧，又在當代藝術家的手中煥發出新的生命力。願這首個色彩畫系列展覽能成為美術館支持繪畫藝術的又一個嶄新起點。

【Upcoming Exhibition | Unbound: A Narrative of Mineral Painting】
Sun Museum is pleased to present the first exhibition of its Colour Painting Series, "Unbound: A Narrative of Mineral Painting", featuring works by nine artists from Japan and various cities in China, including Hong Kong—a special presentation of the mineral painting master, Ikuo Hirayama (1930–2009), together with Chan Yuk Keung, Chen Wenguang, Chung Tai Fu, Hu Mingzhe, Asuka Irie, Ayana Otake, Yau Wing Fung, and Zhu Jin—showcasing the rich spectrum and cross-border flow of mineral pigment art in the contemporary context.
Mineral pigment, an artistic medium carrying the memory of millennia of civilisation, has always reflected humanity's pursuit of colour and texture, from ancient cave paintings to the resplendent imagery of the Dunhuang grottoes. This exhibition presents 33 works in total. Each artist approaches this ancient medium from a distinct perspective, allowing mineral pigment to radiate vastly different forms of vitality in their hands. We hope that through these works, audiences will experience the unique charm of mineral pigment as a "cross-border" medium: one that carries the ancient wisdom of the East while being revitalised in the hands of contemporary artists. May this first Colour Painting Series exhibition mark a fresh new chapter in the museum's continued support of the pictorial arts.
