𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴!

Rossi & Rossi is now closed for the holidays, and reopens on 2 January 2026 with Massimo Antonaci's solo exhibition 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚.

In his third show with the gallery, Antonaci directs us at the radiance of gold and silver. The two metals achieve a delicate equilibrium, repelling and attracting each other like the sun and the moon.

We look forward to welcoming you in the new year!

Wishing Szelit Cheung a very happy birthday! 🥂

We are also delighted to share that two of his works have entered the permanent collection of the Vancouver Art Gallery as a part of the donation by Art Continuum Hong Kong (ACHK). Comprising 131 works from 78 Hong Kong artists, the ACHK collection maps Hong Kong‘s artistic transformations through different generations, backgrounds and practices.

In 2027, the Gallery will present a major exhibition to commemorate this landmark donation. The occasion also marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Handover of Hong Kong.

Szelit Cheung (b. 1988) is currently living and working in Melbourne. His cross-disciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, photography and installation. His most recent works resemble the essence of void through which he explores the connection between presence and emptiness by utilising simple forms, light and colours as a means to echo and amplify in tangible yet powerful sentiments and expressions.

[𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚]
Massimo Antonaci Solo Exhibition
6 December 2025–21 February 2026
Rossi & Rossi, 11/F, M Place, 54 Wong Chuk Hang Road

Massimo Antonaci (b. 1958, Italy) returns to Hong Kong for the first time in six years to open 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚, his third solo exhibition with the gallery. 'Luce' is light, and the artist finds the light of gold to be pure and absolute, relating to the realm of divinity. The exhibition presents multiple iterations of the artist's glass panel work 𝘊𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦, previously shown at his 2019 solo show at Rossi & Rossi, and his latest assemblage of text with images from old Hong Kong books and clippings, unfurled for the audience on a 3.5-metre scroll.

A section of the gallery is occupied by furniture presented by Novalis Art Design( ), including tables, chairs and lamps from Bill Woodrow, Ettore Sottsass and Franz West.

Rossi & Rossi is participating in the upcoming 17th edition of Abu Dhabi Art with a solo presentation of Tenzing Rigdol. Following the artist‘s fifth solo exhibition with the gallery earlier this year and his major commission for the Met in 2024, the selection at Booth S17 reflects the notion on which his recent works are grounded: ’life is an ocean of suffering.‘ Three recently completed large-scale paintings will also be displayed for the first time at Abu Dhabi Art 2025.
