星期一、三、四及日：早上10時至下午6時
星期五、六及公眾假期：早上10時至晚上8時
逢星期二（公眾假期除外）、農曆年初一及二休館

博物館開幕近兩年，為配合保養、優化和新展覽準備工作，下列展廳將按階段暫停開放。其中，展廳3將以全新的專題展覽重新開放。

特別展覽方面，展廳9現正暫停開放，以準備於6月26日起舉辦的全新展覽。

After almost two years of opening, HKPM will close the following galleries by phase for maintenance, refurbishment and preparation of exhibitions. Gallery 3 will feature a brand-new thematic exhibition upon its reopening. Operation hours:

Fri, Sat & Public Holidays: 10am – 8pm
Closed on Tues (except Public Holidays), the first and second day of Lunar New Year

香港故宮文化博物館十分榮幸於平等機會委員會主辦的「通用設計嘉許計劃 2026/27」中，連續第二年榮獲「特別嘉許大獎」，並同時摘下「雙連金獎」及「金獎」。

霜降將至，秋天也漸近尾聲。今天，我們會用相片和紀念品留住一次秋遊的回憶；三百多年前，康熙帝則將塞外圍獵所得的鹿角，製成了一把鹿角椅。

這把鹿角椅所用的鹿角，來自康熙帝在塞外獵獲的馬鹿。馬鹿體形高大，多見於東北地區。清代皇帝於秋季赴木蘭圍場，狩獵、習武、巡邊，並接見蒙古王公。這場名為「木蘭秋獮」的皇家圍獵，不僅是狩獵活動，也是一場兼具軍事演習與統御邊疆意義的盛典。

到了乾隆時期，鹿角椅的椅背背板被更換，並刻上乾隆帝的詩作，歌詠祖父當年獵鹿、製椅的過程。一把鹿角椅，由此承載起兩代帝王的往事。

As Frost’s Descent approaches, autumn draws to a close. Today, we hold on to memories of a day spent in autumn’s embrace through photographs and keepsakes. More than three centuries ago, the Kangxi Emperor found a different way to remember a hunting expedition: he had the antlers of his quarry made into an armchair.

The impressive elk antlers that form the structure of this chair came from the emperor’s quarry. These large deer are commonly found in northeastern China. Each autumn, Qing emperors travelled to the Mulan hunting grounds for an annual hunt that also included military training, the inspection of frontier regions, and audiences with Mongol princes. Known as the “Mulan Autumn Hunt”, this was more than a hunting expedition. It was a grand occasion that combined military exercises with the assertion of imperial authority along the frontiers.

During the Qianlong period, the backboard was replaced and inscribed with a poem by the Qianlong Emperor, celebrating his grandfather’s hunting prowess and the subsequent making of the chair. In this single antler armchair, the stories of two generations of emperors found a lasting home.

💬 當我們談論「新中式美學」，究竟在談論什麼？

那不只是符號的復刻， 是跨越數百年的工藝基因，也是在當代設計中的再造與新生。

為全新展覽「清宮製造與當代設計」 揭開序幕，博物館早前特別舉辦了一場「新中式美學」文化沙龍。

感謝 Madame Figaro HK編輯總監 Xaven Mak 主持這場深度對談 ，攜手四位重量級嘉賓——香港故宮文化博物館副館長兼首席策展人王伊悠博士、VILLEPIN創辦人Arthur de Villepin、SAU LEE 創辦人Cheryl Leung、Chow Tai F**k Jewellery 周大福珠寶高級珠寶創意總監Nicholas Lieou 進行跨界對談——從博物館策展、當代藝術、時尚時裝到高級珠寶，一同拆解東方美學的當代基因，為「新中式」開展更多想像與可能。

當晚更有陸羽茶酒團隊精心打造以中國茶為基調的特調； 手碟音樂人 Chor Lai則以充滿禪意與現代節奏的演奏——文化沙龍在茶香與音律中開啟一場美學對話。

💬 What defines "Neo-Chinese Aesthetics"?
It goes beyond duplicating cultural motifs, it represents the rebirth of centuries-old craftsmanship within modern design.

In celebration of the new thematic exhibition “Design for the Forbidden City: Imperial Workshops of the Qing Court”, we hosted an exclusive Cultural Salon exploring "Neo-Chinese Aesthetics".

Our deep-dive panel, moderated by Xaven Mak (Editorial Director of Madame Figaro HK), brought together Dr. Daisy Yiyou Wang (Deputy Director and Chief Curator of HKPM), Arthur de Villepin (Founder of VILLEPIN), Cheryl Leung (Founder of SAU LEE), and Nicholas Lieou (Creative Director of High Jewellery at Chow Tai F**k Jewellery). Together across museum curation, art, fashion, and fine jewelry, they explored new visions for Eastern aesthetic expressions today.

Guests also enjoyed bespoke tea cocktails by Luk Yu Tea Club alongside a meditative handpan performance by Chor Lai, immersing in an evening where tradition meets modern lifestyle.

課堂學習只是起點，實踐才是真正的成長。

成為香港故宮學生文化大使，學員不但要完成課堂培訓，更要走進博物館前線，透過實習親身體驗博物館的日常運作。

在過去數月，學員經歷了不同範疇的實習體驗，從深入認識展覽與文物、策劃導賞路線，到接待訪客及支援教育活動，不但提升了溝通和協作能力，更加深了對博物館日常營運的認識。

第四屆的學生文化大使計劃即將結束。期待學員完成計劃後繼續以文化大使的身份，把他們對歷史、藝術與文化的熱愛傳遞給更多人。✨

「香港故宮學生文化大使」計劃由招商局慈善基金會首席贊助，以本地大專院校學生及中學生為對象，旨在透過一系列學習及實踐活動，加深學生對文物及博物館專業的認識和興趣，為香港培育未來文化藝術以及博物館專業人才。

Classroom training was only the beginning. As part of the student ambassadors programme, all participants completed a series of museum practices, gaining first-hand experience of museum operations.

Throughout the practicum, students took on a range of responsibilities, from learning about the exhibitions and artefacts, through designing guided tour routes, to welcoming visitors and supporting museum programmes. They gained a deeper understanding of the work behind the scenes.

As the 4th cohort of the Student Ambassador Programme draws on a close soon, we look forward to seeing the students in their Student Ambassador capacity to continue to share their passion for history, art, and culture with the wider community. ✨

The Hong Kong Palace Museum Student Ambassador Programme, supported by the China Merchants Foundation as Lead Sponsor, is designed to cultivate tertiary and secondary students’ interest in Chinese art and culture and border their knowledge through a series of learning workshops and practical sessions. The Programme will not only enhance students’ understanding of cultural objects and museum operations, but also nurture future arts and cultural talent and museum professionals in Hong Kong.

望遠鏡在晚明傳入中國，至乾隆時期，清宮對其使用和仿製達到高峰。它可不只是「觀星神器」，還廣泛用於天象觀測、大地測量和軍事活動。這件18世紀歐洲製造的望遠鏡，以銅鍍金、琺瑯製成，可向外抽拉四節。小小一筒，就能把千里之外拉到眼前。

循着這份屬於秋夜的觀星浪漫，來香港故宮文化博物館，透過一支約三百年前的望遠鏡，看看清宮如何量山河、觀天象，將目光投向更遠的世界。

With the arrival of Cold Dew, autumn nights turn crisp and clear. In an age before neon and city lights, telescopes had already been set up in the Forbidden City, through which people gazed at the stars and charted the vast sky.

Introduced to China in the late Ming dynasty, the telescope reached a height of use and imitation in the Qing court during the Qianlong reign. It was far more than a “stargazing marvel”: it was widely used for astronomical observation, land surveying, and military affairs. Made in 18th-century Europe, this telescope is crafted from gilt copper and enamel, with four extendable sections. In one small tube, distant horizons could be drawn close before you.

Following this autumn-night romance of stargazing, come to the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Through a telescope nearly three centuries old, discover how the Qing court measured mountains and rivers, observed the skies, and turned its gaze toward a wider world.

全新專題展覽「清宮製造與當代設計」已於展廳 5 正式開放予公眾參觀。

是次展覽精選 157 件來自故宮博物院的珍藏（包括 14 件國家一級文物），以當代設計視角，深度解構清代皇室御用機構「造辦處」的運作美學，帶領觀眾重新審視傳統工藝與現代生活的連結。
