DE SARTHE is pleased to participate in Southside: In Focus, an upcoming initiative that sees nine leading organizations across Wong Chuk Hang and Tin Wan open their doors on Sunday, November 1. Participating spaces for this inaugural edition include Antenna Space, Art Intelligence Global, Axel Vervoordt Gallery, Ben Brown Fine Arts, Blindspot Gallery, DE SARTHE, Empty Gallery, GOLD, and Rossi & Rossi.
To celebrate the Southside’s creative community, we’re kicking off our first initiative with special opening hours extended from 11am - 7pm.
Across two spaces under one roof, DE SARTHE presents the artists who shaped 20th-century art history alongside a younger generation exploring the social narratives of a technology-driven present.

🇻🇳 𝘌𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯: 𝘝𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘈𝘳𝘵 traces the birth of Vietnamese modern art through paintings, lacquer and sculpture by French painters who came before the Indochina School of Fine Arts and the masters it trained, including Mai Trung Thu, Vu Cao Dam and Pham Hau.
👾 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳𝘴’ 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, Mitchell F. Chan’s first solo show in Asia, turns the gallery into an arcade of playable pinball sculptures and a video game with a sharp social edge.
